Founder

Post your startup, get pitched

01

Create your listing

Sign up and post your product — name, tagline, a full description, embedded demo video, and what kind of marketer you need. Your product must be live or at MVP stage. No ideas.

Set your arrangement: equity (e.g. 8–12%), paid ($500–2k/mo), rev-share, or open to both. You decide — marketers can counter-propose.
02

Marketers find you and pitch

Your listing appears on the feed. Marketers browse by category, stage, and deal type. Interested ones submit a short pitch — max 500 characters — along with their portfolio and track record.

The hot list: every pitch your startup receives pushes it higher on "Hot This Week." Real interest drives visibility — not paid boosts.
03

Review, accept, connect

All pitches land in your dashboard. Read them, check each marketer's profile and past results, and accept the one you want. When you accept, contact details are revealed and you take it from there.

You stay in control: you can reject, leave pending, pause your listing, or close it once you've found your person.

Find a product worth growing

01

Build your profile

Sign up as a marketer. Add your areas of expertise — content, SEO, paid ads, social, growth — your portfolio link, and a free-text section for past results. "Grew X from 0 to 10k users" beats a fancy title every time.

02

Browse and filter

Browse live startups ranked by marketer interest. Filter by category (SaaS, AI, Dev Tools…), stage (MVP, early traction, growing), and arrangement type (equity, paid, both). Every product has a full listing with a demo video.

03

Pitch in 500 characters

No long cover letters. Write a sharp, honest pitch about why you're the right person for this product. You can also counter-propose on arrangement — suggest different equity or a different fee structure if you think it makes more sense.

Then wait: the founder reviews all pitches and accepts one. You'll get notified on accepted or rejected status.

Common questions

Is it free?

Yes — completely free to start. No charges on either side. Premium features (boosted listings, analytics) will come post-traction.

What counts as "live"?

Your product needs a real URL and something a user can actually use — even if it's rough. A waiting list landing page doesn't count.

Can I be both a founder and a marketer?

Yes. You can post your own startup and also pitch on others. Your role is flexible.

What happens after a match?

Contact details are revealed and the two of you take it from there. LaunchMate doesn't manage the relationship — we just make the introduction.

Can a founder accept more than one marketer?

No — one accepted application per listing. Once accepted, the listing is closed to new pitches. You can reopen it if things don't work out.
